So tonight is the first training session of week 8. Seven miles with 6*100meters.
Ive designed a course with will see me run 4 miles before taking on the strides but that shouldn’t be too much of an issue
I think i am starting to get the hang of these so much so that i am actually looking forward to the workout. Also my legs seem to have healed up a bit from last week, which is good.
And last night, i finally returned to the gym!! I did some weights, some core stuff and half an hour on the biking covering 7 miles. So finally some cross training has been done!! – I must keep this up!!
This will go towards Richard Whiteheads charity fund as he runs across Britain and i will be joining him when he reaches my home town to run 20 miles with him. I am not sure what pace he is planning on running, i just hope i can keep up and that i can raise some funds and awareness of his event.
September 1st i will be joining Paralympic gold medallist Richard Whitehead as he runs the full length Britain. He will be running through Preston on that day and I am planning on joining him for 20 miles or so as a local runner. So if you have a spare Dollar / Pound or Euro please chuck it this way
